A Looking Glass

If there is music in your soul, let it play; it is not for you to know who listens.

Your heart is a chamber that responds as it will; love finds a way, no valley too deep.

The universe is vast; so too, is your spirit, ever discerning the mystery of God.

A small bird chirps in the morning to awaken us; an owl hoots as evening draws near.

Our days are measured; there is light and shadow, daybreak and sunset, the shifting of the tides, and our lives.

It all comes together as through a looking glass; first we cannot see, and then there is a vision that shines before us, like crystal.

Eternity is within us, God’s spark that makes us whole; we are travelers, not lost, but found.

If there is music in your soul, let it play; it is not for you to know who listens.

1 Corinthians 2:9 “But as it is written, eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those that love him.”

1 Corinthians 2:10 “But God has revealed it to us by the spirit. The spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.”
